Shipping

Glory or Valhalla is based in Yorkshire, and every order is picked, packed and posted by our own crew from our workshop in Cross Hills.

Dispatch

Picking and packing usually takes 2–5 business days, Monday to Friday. If your order contains a made-to-order item, the whole order is held until that piece is ready — lead times are shown on the individual listing. If your order is urgent, get in touch before you buy and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it happen.


Once your parcel leaves us you'll get an automated email with tracking.

Who carries it

Royal Mail for most parcels, and Parcel Force for larger or heavier items. Big orders may arrive in more than one delivery.

UK delivery

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your parcel.


  • Orders over £60 ship free within the UK.

  • A £2.50 surcharge applies to any order containing alcohol, because your ID will be checked on delivery in compliance with UK law.

  • A £10 surcharge applies to orders containing items over 60cm going to Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands, due to the cost of carrying them.

Age-restricted deliveries

All alcohol, including our mead, is sold to over-18s only. These parcels go on an age-verified service, which means:


  • Someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive the parcel and show photo ID if asked.

  • We can't leave alcohol in a safe place, with a neighbour, or at a collection point that can't verify age.

  • We can't deliver alcohol to PO boxes.

  • If the carrier can't verify age, the parcel returns to us and re-delivery is at your cost.


We will refuse any order where we have reasonable grounds to believe the buyer or recipient is under 18.

Europe and rest of world

Calculated at checkout based on box size and weight. Some countries restrict or prohibit the import of alcohol — it's your responsibility to check that what you're ordering can lawfully be sent to you.

Taxes and duties

You may be subject to import duties, customs charges or taxes. As the customer, you're responsible for paying them. We have no control over these charges, can't predict them, and won't cover them. By ordering from us you accept responsibility for any duties or taxes you're charged.

Failed deliveries, wrong addresses and PO boxes

You're responsible for re-shipping charges if an order comes back to us because of an incorrect address, a missed delivery that wasn't collected, or an attempted delivery to a PO box or military base. Addresses written with special characters, and military base addresses, may delay dispatch or cause your order to be cancelled.


If you give us the wrong address and contact us after the item has shipped, we can't refund or re-ship until the item is returned to us. Once it's back, you'll need to cover postage to send it out again.

Cancellations

In-stock orders can be cancelled any time before they ship. Made-to-order items can only be cancelled before we start making them, so get in touch as soon as you can.
